Welcome to November, the month of gratitude!
We have so much to be thankful for – our lives, all we are, and all we have. When we gather with our family and friends on Thanksgiving Day lets offer grateful prayers for the people in our lives, the welcome found at St. Anne’s church, and the hope of our Christian faith. This hope isn’t wishful thinking, it’s the expectation, the future certainty, that God will continue to be with us, now and for eternity.
One way we express our gratitude for all God’s generous gifts, is to share Christ’s redeeming love. Let’s say yes to the invitation to live out our faith with acts of compassion, generosity, and love as Jesus taught and lived. In our prayers remember the poor and all who are hurting around the world. Pray for new ways to create peace. Pray to be the difference in someone’s life.
I’m so thankful for all of you being with me on this journey of our faith, walking closer and closer with Jesus Christ.
