Happy New Year! In 2023 we grew together as a community, in our faith, and in our worship. Thank you all for being a part of St. Anne’s and being a welcoming community.
As we look back over the last year it’s evident that God has blessed and guided us through our challenges. We can look forward into 2024 with hope and confidence that God will continue to be with us and lead us on our journey of faith.
In 2024 please pray for ears to hear God’s call and eyes to see where God is calling you. Individually and as a community of Jesus followers, we want to respond “YES!” when called to serve for Christ. It is through our actions that our faith is most evident. Making the decision to act out of love in all circumstances, and to love all people to the best of our ability, is the agape love Jesus teaches.
An abundant life with God is possible because of God’s generosity to us. We express our gratitude in return through prayer, worship, and continuing Jesus’ ministries. When we feed the hungry, house those without a place to live, cloth the naked, heal the sick, befriend the lonely, give others patience and understanding, we are loving as Jesus asked us to love.
I’m praying this new year brings greater joy to you and those you love, and a deepening relationship with Christ. May your faith provide you with peace and comfort in the new year!
