Happy New Year!
I want to thank you again for extending a call to be your vicar. I’m so grateful for your warm welcome and am very happy to be here with all of you. God has blessed me with the opportunity to worship, pray with, serve and be a part of this community of faith.
New Year’s is a time to look back over the last year and acknowledge how God has blessed and guided us through our challenges. It is also the time to look forward with hope and confidence that God will continue to be with us and lead us on the path that God has for us as individuals and as a church.
In this time of resolutions, it’s a good thing to hope for greater personal and spiritual growth, an increased call to service, and opportunities to bring God’s love to those we encounter. Yet, please know that you have been, are and always will be loved by God. There is nothing any of us can do to increase God’s unmeasurable love for us. Our intention to spend more time growing closer to God directs us towards the abundant, healthy, and whole life God already wants for us.
I’m praying that 2023 brings greater joy to you and those you love, and a deepening relationship with Christ. May your faith provide you with peace and comfort in the new year!
God’s blessing and Peace,
Annie+
