Discussion group meeting on Thursdays begining February 22 from 11am – 1pm in Hubbard Hall (downstairs meeting room).  All are welcome, once or many times! We will spend time discussing some biggies of the Hebrew Scripture. This will be a disscussion-dialog-chat-confab about certain figures in the Hebrew Scripture that have an impact on Jesus’ ministry. The discussion will be moderated, but won’t be a lecture or sermon!

We’ll begin with DAVID and how he comes to be King of Israel. Possible questions: What does it mean to be anointed? What does it mean to be the ‘son of David?’ How does God choose leaders?

Please bring a brown-bag lunch for yourself. Cookies and coffee will be provided.
