DESCRIPTION:Advent Book Study : “Preparing the Way: Christian Practices for Advent” \nWednesdays: \n\nNovember 20\nDecember 4\nDecember 11\nDecember 18\nJanuary 8\n\n11 am in the conference area downstairs. \nThis study will take us through the season of Advent\, a time of reflection\, of waiting and watching for Jesus’ miraculous birth. Our faith beckons us to a gentle way focused on the Divine in this often busy season of preparing for Christmas.\nThis study provides daily readings and meditations centered on a weekly theme. When gather together we will discuss how these helped us welcome Jesus not only into our homes for the season but also into our hearts. \nThis book from “Forward Movement” will be provided. \nAdvent Book Study materials can be picked up on Sunday 11/10 or 17. We start on Wednesday November 20 at 11am in the conference area by the church offices.
