SUMMARY:Empty Bowls Camas
DESCRIPTION:Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Norris Arts are hosting Empty Bowls Camas 2024 on September 17 in downtown Camas from 5:30-7:30PM.  Part of a grassroots effort started in 1990 to fight hunger locally by raising money for local food banks\, our local event is supporting Interfaith Treasure House.  Norris artists are creating unique\, handmade bowls.  Ticket purchasers will sample soups from local restaurants (Feast@316\, Natalia’s Café\, Nuestra Mesa\, Tommy O’s and others) and choose bowl to take home as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. \nPlease mark your calendars for an event that should sell out.  Tickets will go on sale on July 26 for $30.  Of course\, we will have volunteer opportunities.  Look for signups in early August.  Check out the website at www.emptybowlscamas.org and scroll to the bottom to subscribe for updates.
